Sound Global With Debut Album and Canadian Studio Partnership

There’s something quietly ambitious about an artist who releases their debut album and immediately heads to Canada to work on what comes next. That’s exactly what Nigerian producer and Afrobeats artist Kwosa Mayor is doing right now, and it says a lot about where he’s headed. Kwosa Mayor dropped his first full-length project, “Divergent,” back in October 2025. It’s a 9-track, 33-minute statement that pulls from Amapiano, Afrofusion, and Afrobeats without getting stuck in any one lane. The album features collaborations with Viktoh (the former YBNL signee), South African artists Shashi and B.Nolo, and Nigerian rising acts Boy Muller and TheFeyiii.

2025

Year of historic recognition ( "Love, LUst & Levels"2025)

Each track on the EP offers something different — whether it's the slow-burning groove of “Fool 4 U,” the amapiano bounce on “Wehma,” or the emotional weight of “To my Ex.” Kwosa Mayor masterfully balances mood and movement, taking listeners from club-ready anthems to introspective slow jams.
